Day Views of NY City Dressed for the Holidays

December is always a busy month wherever you are. In Manhattan streets and attractions are filled with visitors.

The City is particularly wonderful for me in December. There are annual events I attend and I enjoy seeing the decorations and festive lights everywhere.

The pictures on this slide show are first of Fifth Avenue at 58th Street. The fountain is in front of both Bergdorf Goodman, (the department store of Sex and the City fame- where Carrie loved to buy her shoes) and the main entrance of The Plaza Hotel.

You’ll see the crystal snowflake that is illuminated at night on 57th Street and Fifth Avenue; the inside of Bergdorf’s dressed up for the holidays; a view of Central Park from a restaurant in Bergdorf’s and; FAO Schwartz toy store.

One day last week I went to Avery Fisher Hall, in Lincoln Center, and witnessed a rehearsal of the NY Philharmonic, They played Handel’s Messiah with the New York Choral Artists. The music was glorious and it was interesting to see the artists perfecting their performance.

The second set of pictures in the slideshow are of daytime Lincoln Center. On the right is Avery Fisher Hall, in the center rear is The Metropolitan Opera House and on the left is the home of the NY City Ballet at the NY State Theater.

Although we usually don’t have seminars in December, you might think about coming to Group as an excuse to visit the City.

The Full Moon Eclipse for Those Who Are Spiritually Inclined

For those of you who are spiritually inclined, I would like to share the clear, committed work of Patricia Cota-Robles and her website

Please note that what I am presenting here is independent of the Resonance Repatterning® system. My personal eclectic spirituality is reflected here and hopefully in every aspect of my life, for it is the ultimate fuel that nourishes my private practice and my being.

On the internet there are so many voices. There are sites of healers, of people receiving through their channeling messages about our planet’s evolution, there are the messages of lightworkers, scholars, astrologers, to mention a tiny few of the multitude.

I have not always had positive effects from visiting some websites so I do not have repeat visits to many sites.

One woman whose voice I trust is Patricia Cota-Robles. She gives free seminars about personal and planetary transformation throughout the USA. She is always attuned to events that are energetically significant for the positive transformation of humanity and our planet.

Although her language is very different from words I use to describe spiritually transformative information, her energy and truth feel clean and correct to me. I have used some of her tapes and had wonderful experiences that I will share at another time.

Here is part of the e-mail I received from her prior to the eclipse.

“December 21, 2010 – A POWERFUL OPPORTUNITY!
By Patricia Diane Cota-Robles

“We are in the midst of an incredible influx of Light. …. tonight we will experience not only the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, but also a very rare Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. This eclipse takes place within 2 degrees of the Galactic Center which will open a mighty portal from the Core of Creation. The Light of God will flow through this portal and initiate pivotal changes that will affect all Life evolving on this planet….

According to the Company of Heaven, it is impossible to overestimate the potential for positive change that Humanity will co-create by taking advantage of this Cosmic Moment.

…. The Light of God that will flow to Earth through this newly opened portal will build in momentum until the New Moon Solar Eclipse on January 4, 2011. This will catapult the Earth and ALL her Life up the Spiral of Evolution and pave the way for a God Victorious 2011. Fasten your seatbelts, you are in for the ride of your life! 2011 is going to be a year of monumental change and rebirth.”

This is a meditation that Patricia produced for the occasion. I sunk into my being and I watched it before I went out to see the event. I hope that you enjoy it too.

Even though this is a “past” event now, according to Lynne McTaggert, author of The Field, and The Intention Experiment,, energetically there is no past, present and future so that a person can retro-intend and be energetically a part of what has already occurred.

Holiday Tasks and Nourishing Myself with the Light of the Eclipsing Full Moon

I remember a time when I received holiday cards or calendars from every professional person who considered me their patient. It is a custom that seems to be dwindling, or is being replaced by e-cards and I am a little sorry that this is happening.

I felt appreciated when I went to my mailbox and received the cards. So, I follow the tradition and send out cards to my friends, acquaintances, members of The Group, and happily to my clients.

I usually find the prospect of the huge number of cards to buy, label, stamp and hand write messages in rather overwhelming. I also hand write messages to another thirty people who work in my building.

This year I had a wonderful surprise. My computer quickly printed my labels without a glitch and I did some modalities before starting to write the cards.

In particular, I grounded myself in my tenth chakra, used the Remembrance process, put on Turner Classic Movies for background. To my delight the huge task was finished smoothly and with my remaining connected in my heart.

All of the cards were mailed on Monday. I hope that all of my clients, students and Group members experience something positive when they get their card. I hope they receive my gratitude and acknowledgement.

In the wee small hours of the next morning I bundled up, stood outside on my terrace and felt the quiet peace of a cold city night. I took a few shots of the full moon as it was beginning to be eclipsed. The sky was cloudless for the first half hour.

I stood outside until about 2 AM. I focused my eyes on the light of the moon and I felt subtle but powerful energy buzzing under my feet. While watching the event I felt like I was bathing in the wonderful light as it touched my bare face.

Unfortunately, I was tired and cold and it promised to be a long process.  Here is one of the pictures I took.

More about the full moon eclipse will follow in another post.
