It’s hard to believe that March has flown by and we are already in April!
There are three short items that spoke most clearly to me in Lee Harris”s April Energy Forecast.
Briefly stated, the first is his description of waking up some days feeling like the “walking dead” where it just seems so difficult to mobilize and sustain energy. I have really noticed that after several days of considerable activity I seem to hit a wall where I trudge through what needs to be done. Those days immediately after I make my bed I wish I could go right back into the coziness again.
The second thing is that I also have noticed in the past week or two considerable energy moving from my feet upward into my root chakra and upwards. This feels somewhat new to me and different from my past experiences of kundalini energy rising from my root chakra.
Lastly, although the varying experiences I have been having are more like a kalidiscope than a series of moving from one mosaic tile to another, I simply do not feel the old tugs of getting sucked in to the dramas and energy of non-coherence around me.
In the midst of the grunge I feel grounded and secure. What joy!

*April 1st Update (written 3 days after recording the main April Message)***
The emergence of light is stronger than ever, and in this month’s energy forecast I mention how the Earth herself is activating now, pulsing energy waves upwards which we are feeling strongly in our bodies, emotions and actions. These waves are activating our personal internal Earths – root/base chakra and hearts. These chakras are pulsing, cleansing out all that is unwanted or old, and drawing in higher energies for you all of the time.
So the release side of this experience will be broad, but will have a focus for many on; – anger, unresolved relationship energies, feeling unaligned with your life as a human being, a sense that change needs to happen internally and/or externally. Then post-release, the activation and intake side will be heartfelt creation/action, feeling truly alive in your heart and senses, and an experience of softness, connection and peace that you had not known before.
So April is an opportunity to be patient with yourself (and the symptoms you may be experiencing) as it all moves through you, for April will power a lot of movement.
If you find yourself in mental resistance or fight (hearing thoughts such as “I don’t want/like this”), this is a mental contraction and unless worked with, it stops the release movement, and traps you in a circle of ‘dislike’. To work with thoughts like these in your head, simply counteract or talk back to those words with a sentence such as “I accept”. Two powerful words that allow the release to flow again, so that balance can sooner restore in you and your body. Saying them aloud will be beneficial to break the thought cycle.
Without exception, we are ALL moving down this evolutionary energy tunnel so rapidly that the analytical mind can’t keep up or assess what is occurring. This is often why it leans to negative, because it is confused as to how to move forward. The JOY in this is to realize that if you don’t yet feel as free of your mind chatter as you want to be, these times are forcing you to surrender the reins of control back to your body and your senses. Meditative acts (meditation, yoga or your own personal way of calming mind and body), body balance through food and exercise and enhancing the positive energies in your life (people you choose to be with, places you visit, inspiration and heartfelt teachings and events) will all support this process.
If in mental doubt, remember; “I accept”. “I accept”. “I accept”. If in a good space and riding the waves, words such as: “I live, I love, I create” will keep your surf supported! 🙂 Lee x

Hello and welcome to the April 2013 Energy Forecast.
It’s a funny ‘forecast’ day for me today. I woke up feeling like ‘the walking dead’ and was not dissimilar yesterday. And yet because I’m having a week with my family tomorrow, (which is wonderful) I needed to record this today in order that it come out in time.
So I’m sure this will sound familiar to many of you. Both feeling like ‘the walking dead’ on certain days and just having to keep trucking through regardless of what impetus or energy you feel you do or don’t have.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not at all a fan of pushing yourself through suffering. I don’t think we need to do that. But I wanted to record the forecast today, so I came to an environment that would be supportive to both my own feelings, and in understanding my role as a conduit for some people, I brought us here so that we could all have the water energy and sound and also the shelter of the trees. The phrase that came to mind for me many times in March when I wondered about the experiences we were having was “Energy Mosaic” – the idea that as human beings and souls we have been in an energy mosaic.
When you look at a mosaic, it is made of many individual tiles and together they make one whole picture. But each individual tile has its own color and its own detail.
The mosaic reference came up for me when I noticed within my own self (and in lots of the people around me and who I was working with)that the common phrase was, “Has anyone else noticed that the energy has been really weird lately?” When I hear that, I do get that on one level it’s a true statement. But having lived through the last few years of that kind of truth being reality, it’s always a little harder for me to go with the “lately” part of that sentence.
But, there has been a difference in recent weeks. In that this energy mosaic has had an effect of meaning in one moment we are very deeply in one tile, one color, one shade from our past, present, future. And then in the next moment we just shunt, often in an abrupt way, into another tile of our lives.
I referred in the March Energy Forecast to the speed that we are now going through. Meaning that we’re going through so many things in one day now, compared to years ago, and that it won’t make sense to our minds that have lived a certain way and speed for many, many years.
Our minds tend to reference the past, and they track the present based on how differently it feels to what went on before. Our minds don’t tend to be able to dimensionally grasp the future until we’re in the future (a.k.a the present!).
So, this mosaic feeling that some of you will have had will have meant that there has been a sense of disconnection within your day. And yet actually, at other times, you feel like you’re just breezing and flowing through a lot of it, whether it’s good, whether it’s bad. The disconnection is the newness of it all – new connections are being made within you.
Some of you will have had the experience that I personally have had. Which has been having many wonderful things occurring, inside me, outside me, very closely followed by a friend or a stranger at my shoulder in crisis or in need, and that the day just becomes a dance through all of those things.
So you go through the tiles. Tile 1 is perhaps a strange experience, Tile 2 may be a difficult experience, Tile 3 a good experience. But your own sense of center through all of it can be (and for most of you will be) stronger than ever before. You aren’t now being pushed or sucked into each of these things. You have a core of yourself that you are now maintaining, which is also why what’s going on around you can amplify and speed up. Because before, if you’d got very involved in what was going on around you emotionally, you would have left your center and gone into that and worked with that and processed that for those around you and of course, for yourself.
So for many of you it will now be a case of, “Well, things feel a little crazy around me but I definitely feel more peaceful and more centered than before.” This is your evolution.
I’ve also spoken in recent months about the rise of love and heart-felt energy on our planet. It’s getting stronger and stronger.
Some of the things that we see in the media would try and have us believe otherwise. Don’t get me wrong here, for I do not believe we live in a perfect world nor a world that doesn’t need help in certain areas right now.
But I’m very conscious when I see images in the media, that sometimes it feels like I’m seeing truth and sometimes it feels like I’m being shown something to get me to think a certain way about a certain issue, or distract me from another issue.
And right now issues are everywhere. As the global issues rise for us, as we sign more petitions for things and as we focus on areas that need liberation in the world, so too does this have an effect on us as a personal individual.
So ask yourself, what petitions have you been signing in yourself this month? What are you re-writing about the areas of yourself that feel challenged or oppressed or suppressed by others around you?
The illusion of what we live in on Earth is here for a reason. You can fully buy into it, if you aren’t somebody who just lives in a completely Zen way. There are people on the planet that do that and who have no attachment to anything, ever. They’ve achieved that state and they are holding that energy for the rest of us who are going through a more human ascension dance. They are holding that balance on the planet for the rest of us.
The group that many of you are in and the group I would put myself in, is those of us who are awake and aware and wanting to bring more consciousness to the actions that we take as humans – the actions on our planet.
When our root chakra, our base, is strong and healthy and working – when you are not going through something or feeling pushed by circumstances – then you have a much stronger propensity to act, to create, to do.
One of the things that has changed in the last month or so is that the energy rising from inside the Earth is getting stronger.
So for a long time we’ve looked at solar flares, we’ve looked at energies coming at us from off the planet and how they are shifting the dynamics of everything on the planet. But when I spoke to my guides this morning, they talked about the Earth now heating up from inside and waves of energy coming up through the planet. This affects us all, and it pulses our base.
So, if you are managing to keep yourself in a healthy alive space, it will likely be because you are attending to the things that I talk about each month – body, mind and spirit – body especially, keeping it light, keeping yourself well fed, keeping yourself moving. The body is often the piece that(unless you are a natural athlete or a natural nutritionist) many in the mind-spirit community can forget. But without it, we can’t use our higher awareness, so higher awareness without body balance tends to leave many feeling disempowered.
If you’re keeping your body clear, the mind and emotions will follow that lead and you will be finding yourself in better times than if you aren’t right now. So many energies are moving through and around the planet that it is a little like losing your balance or being encouraged to lose your balance faster than ever before.
If you have got the inner balance of your body working, then you will be finding that you will be getting a lot accomplished that you would like to get accomplished – whether it’s relationship intimacy growth, whether it’s a doing of some kind. But as to those things that you feel compelled to do and walk towards, it’s the body’s vibrancy that allows it all. SO;
The more you look after your body right now, the more your base energy can be supported.
The more that base energy is supported the better it can alchemize the energies coming from under the ground and through you.
Thus more flow and fluency will be present in both body and life and you will be better able to create with the energies of this world.
Things are getting faster in terms of physical manifestation and creation, which is wonderful. But, we are ending today’s Energy Forecast where we began which is that when you have those ‘walking dead’ days, it’s really important to slow it down for a while and to recognize that you need the ebb and flow of life, and on certain days planetary energies will be stronger than others. Also though, to understand the relationship you have on those ‘walking dead’ days to what you have just walked through in your life and where you’re going next.
The energy matrix on our planet is growing stronger and wider and more connected all of the time – empathically, telepathically, emotionally. Though don’t always believe that you are going to be able to successfully work out in your mind what’s going on on one of those ‘walking dead’ days. Of course, our mind likes to try and give us a way of understanding how we’re feeling.
Sometimes you’ll be recovering from what you’ve just done. You’ll be bringing yourself into the new balance place that you’ve arrived at because of the changes you just walked through in the last one, two, three weeks. But a lot of the time now if you ask yourself on those days what’s going on, you’re going to be feeling what’s coming up ahead.
You may not mentally know what is coming. But if you track this and you measure this scientifically over your coming few weeks, it will be very interesting for you to see how on the days where you feel a little contracted, a little ‘walking dead’, energy outputs of significant size are about to come through you and into your life.
If your first thought about what I just said is a rise in fear within you, recognize you are on ‘fear-alert’ – believing that fear is always the thing you have to look out for first. This comes from the idea that bad might be coming. That’s a belief and a way of feeling about life that you need to work on. Because you can work on it and you can move it.
It could be past trauma related, it could just be an old pattern – it could be to do with what you’re putting in your body and the chemical imbalance that that is causing for you.
But for most of you when you have these ‘walking dead’ days, be in rest as much as you can and open up to bright futures ahead. Not necessarily in a mental way, e.g. planning an intention (unless you feel to). But just allow those quiet days to rest, look at the trees, look at the sky, know that you’re alive in this moment and so is this Earth and this moment is all you need.
Breathe. Take it all into your body.
And if your mind needs something to do, ask it to get curious about what’s coming next for you as a creator on this planet, and what you as a creator are going to do to help the shift that we as awake people are now beginning to facilitate.

One of the things that I enjoy about working with Lee Harris’s monthly energy forecast is that it is always so valuable for me to share the material in varying time frames.
It is three weeks into the month and what he said in the first week is meaningful to me right now.
For the past week I have been feeling a quality in my life that is really different from my life for at least the past thirty years.
One of my personal goals was to minimize my experience of being involved with being busy. I have been feeling pressured by my continual attention to doing tasks.
Last week I began experiencing a new sense of having time- lots of time- and space to relax, ponder, do more Repatternings on myself, time to read books- time to be.
I am seeing more clients than before. I’m cooking, baking, writing, re-connecting with long lost friends. All of this with a feeling that something in my reality has shifted so completely that I am living in a new way.
Even though I may actually be doing more, I don’t feel the pressure or sense of crowded busy-ness!
When I read Lee’s discussion of horizontal energy waves as a new phenomenon for us this month, I could feel what he was talking about.

Hi Everyone
Welcome to the February Energy Forecast for 2013. We had a break from a monthly forecast in January because of the annual message that I created – 2013 Year of Community.
So it was an interesting month to go through. Everybody at some level or another experienced these incredible days of what some have called muddy, some have called intense and some have called half-asleep. There are a few reasons for this.
One of the keys that I always felt would happen post the 21st of December would be a big “now what?” from a lot of people – many people were expecting something to happen on that day, even though so many of us had discussed that it wasn’t going to be a one day occurrence. But still, none of us as human beings absolutely know what’s going to happen. So there was a curiosity.
And even within the psyche of those who don’t believe in the idea of spiritual or psychic change, December the 21st had a meaning to people.
So this, combined with the holidays, left everyone quite disoriented and some people disillusioned. So many people flatlined energetically, for at least the first week or two of January, if not longer.
Last night before recording this message, I tuned in to see what would be one of the themes for this month ahead. Normally, I’m given words and concepts and I was given a few of those this morning, which I will share in a second, but last night I was shown was an image. The image was of this being a turning point for us – January into February, but we’ll really feel it in February. Prior to this in the last few years, the energy waves that we’ve been experiencing as human beings have been a lot more vertical than they are about to become. We are now going into a more horizontal period. I’ll explain.
If you think of a coffee plunger, a cafetiere where you press down and it compresses all of the coffee and the water into the glass – what we were previously experiencing was a plunging up and down (energetically) that was quite similar to this. So it was rapidly pushing and compressing us through those things that we needed to clear or change. Physical health was often the manifestation of this, which is why so many people have been ill in the last couple of months; because that is one way to clear out dense and old energy.
We’re all a little different. Some of us tend to process more emotionally, some more physically, some more mentally and usually we all process any of those at any one time to some degree.
So the difference that we’re about to experience in the coming energy waves is a more horizontal process. It’s funny because as I’m saying this, I can feel a whole bunch of you going, “Oh God, not more.” (Laughter) I’m afraid we are still on Planet Earth as human beings going through the human transformation that we always knew would be colorful, to say the least.
So this new ‘horizontal’ experience is going to slightly change the way that we process things. Before, we were rapidly catapulted into things that we needed to clear, and often it was intense, fast and took you by surprise. Those of you who’ve worked a lot with developing your awareness in the last couple of years, and heightened seeing some of the areas that you have cycles around fears or around limitations, versus the parts of you that you can say are very expanded and open. So, for example, some of us are very good at being brave in certain areas, but in others we have a lot of fear and restriction and we notice, “Oh, wow, I’m working with an energy template here that’s holding me back”.
Regarding some of those cycles and areas that you have now identified, this new horizontal energy is going to allow you to open them out more, and examine them. So there will be less shock involved and there will be more consciousness in working with these areas.
So let’s say your fear is of rapidly changing your relationship, your partnership. You’ve been circling around this for a year and it’s been very intense. What you will now be able to do is to see with a much wider vision what it is that needs to change in the partnership. Whether it is that the partnership has served its time and its purpose, or whether it is that you’re holding onto some things that you can open up in you, so that the relationship can become fuller. But the spaciousness of this horizontal energy will make it feel different to you. Rather than bringing you the feeling you’re the victim of it, or being pushed into something you didn’t see coming, the spaciousness is going to allow you a lot more peace around examining some of these areas with less judgment, less fear and less of a sense of needing to get away from these areas.
So this really speaks of the mastery available to those of us who work with awareness and consciousness, but these energy waves will also speak quite clearly about the mind.
The mind is such a key and such a clue. And the mind is, in several areas of the self-development and spiritual world, wrongly demonized and spoken of as a villain and an enemy. The problem with making the mind an enemy or a villain, is that the mind is always connected to you somehow. So there is always some emotion in you or some old experience that you went through that was hurtful or difficult that you made an alliance with your mind around.
So if you made an alliance with your mind when you got rejected by somebody, the next time you go to put yourself in a situation where you may be rejected again, your mind will send you warning sentences to stop you, so that you don’t have to go through that pain.
Now, as we know, that’s a trap, as we actually just have to feel whatever it is that’s inside us, so that it can then transmute and open. Because any wound or any area where we’re limited holds us back from being our full selves and living with greater happiness and greater ease.
Whether you are somebody living in a mansion with millions of dollars or whether you’re somebody living with very little out in a mud hut, the life experience is universal. And it’s usually the case that those of us in western society have to work even harder to reconnect ourselves, versus those people who actually have a lot less and are still more in touch with their senses around the world; and they are not living in such an over-stimulated, technological place.
So when working with the mind; here are some tips from me.
If you find that your mind is going very frantic one day, so for example, you notice that you are bothered by your mind and all of your focus is going up there. Perhaps the mind is saying, “I’m worried about money and what if I don’t get that job and what if this, what if that…”
Firstly, all of those things really are simply “what-ifs” and the mind’s “what-ifs” are just fears of what may or may not happen in the future, usually based on the past. And of course, worries about the future, when you remember that any of us could die at any moment, become a lot less important.
So first of all, mentally understanding the concept that worry is a non-truth. It’s a pattern based on fear and anxiety that is coming from inside the body.
So this thought is not the enemy. This thought is connected to anxiety or instability inside, so if you can identify and work with that emotion, the thought goes away.
You know this to be true because when you are at peace and happy, none of this mind chatter is going on.
So, if you catch yourself having lots and lots of thoughts, you can either stay in a thought cycle that could last hours and could keep you in a fairly low vibration, or you can catch it, see what’s happening and re-pattern both the thoughts and also work with the feeling in the body.
So if with the example I just gave, you have fear thoughts about money, about job, just go into your body and ask yourself – what am I feeling? What feelings are creating these thoughts? And you may get an answer verbally or you may just notice the feeling, by stopping putting all of your attention on your mind. You may then notice that you’re feeling quite amped up, or feeling quite afraid. So first of all just breathe, and let the body calm a little. Then help redirect the feeling by making an affirmation around it.
So for example, if fear was the feeling, you would say, “There is nothing to be afraid of. I do not need to be afraid. I release this fear.” Whatever words feel right to you. The reason it’s important to verbalize something (or to say it inside your mind if you’re in a public place and you don’t feel so comfortable doing that or it’s not convenient), is that through doing this, you reprogram the other words that are going round your head.
Just taking a couple of minutes out, whenever you notice you are caught in the mind, and just letting the body breathe and stop. And even just doing that, even if it takes some time to reprogram your thoughts, you’ll notice it will give you more space inside once more and you’ll be able to back away from that which you’re getting mentally obsessed by. As the obsession has risen from the energy-body into the mind and the problem is that the mind is always a ‘full stop’. You’re never going to get anywhere above the mind, so thoughts become circular. But if you come back down into the body, you actually start to clear it, and then these thoughts start to disappear.
This is a time for many of us to become more diligent about re-patterning and re-training ourselves. We do run on pattern as humans and we run on patterns in the relationships that we have with other people and yes, you can meditate and you can do other spiritual exercises such as yoga or exercise, all sorts of things can help – but when you have limiting thoughts in the mind, one of the quickest ways to release them is to reprogram yourself with other words; more positive words that you have chosen.
And what you will find is if you practice this over a period of days and weeks, it’s not just that it gives you relief in that moment. You will also be re-training yourself to have more expansive feelings and thoughts, so that you don’t get trapped up there in limitation again.
The reason I’m focusing on this so much this month is because the message I was shown this morning was that this is a month that we can really learn to trust ourselves and our lives more and create more space for ourselves. But it will take some diligence on our behalf. (Laughter) And again I can hear a whole bunch of you going, “Ugh, really?”
And if that’s the place you’re in, you need to re-pattern that thought. It’s fine to be tired and it’s fine to be exhausted and it’s fine to go through this month deciding you’re really not going to do too much. But a thought that’s negative towards your own potential transformation is a thought that needs re-patterning.
So if you’re exhausted, be good to yourselves. But most of us are going to see a widening of the space that we noticed happening in January. Many of us in the world had experiences where, post the intense days or the muddy days, we would come back feeling stronger, clearer and wider than we ever had before and more at peace with everything that was going on around us within our internal self.
We’re living in times where violence and fear are being put on the table a lot more. And it’s escalating around us. And it’s important to both center yourself around these evidences of violence but also to hold your boundary and to have your voice around what you feel is a way that we can live together as humans on the planet. Versus just suffering through what you are seeing going around you.
It’s important to find that internal fire. And you find that fire by making yourself less of a hostage to fear. And through working with the mind this month you will find you’ll have fast shifts out of some of the historic fears that you had, and also some of the collective fears that are going on around us.
As ever, be good to yourselves, be good to others, but remember it starts with you. And I know that most of you listening to this will have more of a tendency to neglect yourselves and focus on giving your energy out to others. Or that has been your greatest mastery change in the last few years.
So keep working with knowing when you need to be alone. Knowing when you need to ‘not be’ where you have promised to be; because that’s hitting a lot of us in bigger way than ever before at the moment.

There is so much in this forecast that spoke to me that I would be writing my own essay in response to Lee’s.
Dear reader I will spare you that but I will say that some of the themes in Lee Harris’s November forecast that I relate most to involve my relationship to primal fears coming up, pushing myself through and exploring those fears along with the abundant opportunities that are presenting for me to live each moment feeling more and more fully alive.
I loved Lee’s comments on creativity which completely mirror my desire to play my childhood accordion and early adult guitar.
There is much to think about in the forecast and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.
Hi Everybody,
I thought that for the November Energy Forecast I wanted to treat you to this view (Lee points to hillside behind him in the video). It’s unbelievable. It’s in Boulder, Colorado, where I live, and this is a place that I come and walk to rebalance myself. So for those of you who aren’t living in the countryside at the moment, or don’t get to experience something like this very often, I wanted to share it with you the best way I could.
I’m recording this message on October 31st and we’ve just gone through Hurricane Sandy in the US in the last couple days. And it was energetically very, very intense the whole day that we were waiting for the storm to hit. I found it very hard to disconnect from New York and the hurricane, even though I wanted to try and stay centered to hold as much positivity as I could for what was going to happen. But at the same time, I felt incredibly affected by it.
I’m living in America now, so it’s easy when you’re on the same land mass to feel it. But I also know that New York was symbolic of certain things that we’re going to go through in the next few years. We’re going to see more of these dramatic weather incidences. And the reassuring thing for me about New York was the amount of preparation and planning that went into how everybody navigated it. Because if you think about a hundred years ago, there wouldn’t have been any warning – there wouldn’t have been any preparation plans, and people would have just experienced that kind of storm without any forewarning.
Secondly, the thing that is so vital for all of us at this crazy time on Earth, is the power of community and the love and support of community. I’ve emphasized this several times in recent months. It’s going to be those connections with each other that get us through the next few years and some of the challenges that are going to come up.
And what’s interesting with Hurricane Sandy is – nature spoke very loudly, whereas it feels for the last several months, politics, the economy and the media have spoken very loudly, to create fear. And this was instead a very natural experience of human fear of death – the actual fear of death, rather than death of your financial life or death of the politician that you would like to be in power.
So it brings fear home in a very primal way when these kinds of things happen. I’ve talked a lot about primal fear this year and the one really useful thing about primal fear is it’s even stronger than the fear that comes from the mind.
The fear that comes from the mind and the fear that can be created between thought and emotion tends to sit higher in the body, it doesn’t tend to go all the way down to the base chakra. It tends to sit heart and up, and sometimes accessing the stomach. But the base chakra is where our whole life force center is. So, when you have primal fear, there is this flush through the base.
So in some ways primal fear can be incredibly useful and incredibly powerful. It’s why people like watching horror movies – really scaring yourself gives you a flush of fear, so that you are then left clearer.
We know that on this planet we live on, there is duality, there is fear and love, light and dark, and everything in between. The other thing that we know through energy science and understanding, (which is fantastically growing more and more in the last few years), is that we can direct energy.
And that’s what this month is really about. I tuned-in this morning and I was wondering, what’s the theme, of this month’s forecast, and I very clearly was told “leadership and direction.” And it comes from within each of us.
When you’re having a difficult time in life, it can be hard to find your direction and so the kinder you can be to yourself and the less judgmental, the quicker you recover. Just recognize where you’re at – if you’re feeling down or feeling low, ask ‘what can I do to support myself?’ Maybe I need to stay at home for a few days, maybe I need to get some support, maybe I need to go for a walk. Try out all the maybes and keep trying the maybes. Don’t give up on allowing yourself to recognize you’ll come through it, because you will. We all do.
This is really a month where you’re going to want your leadership to come to the forefront. Over all of the Energy Forecasts this year, I’ve spoken about several areas and elements of leadership that we are being allowed into as a shifting world. So this ranges from the energetic and the spiritual, right through to the practical human, such as finding your voice where your voice has been suppressed.
Suppression is rising now at a world level and so too is all the suppression that you may have carried in yourself – remember that it’s not just a personal upshift.
We have been a society that has been under the suppression of certain structures, certain beliefs. And as things have got crazier in the last few years, and things are imploding and exploding left and right, what this allows is the energy to return to the body. Sometimes it’s a baptism of fire and many of us already know that, sometimes it’s excruciating.
But if you work with the mind when in fear, and try and identify when the mind is telling you negatives – thoughts like ‘things are going to be awful’, then you can shift.
The way I really worked with this was a couple of years ago I went into deep fear about what might happen in the world. I really went there in my fear body, and I played out all the worst case scenarios and the decision that I finally gave myself was, well, I could either live in fear for the next few years and not truly live; or if the worst is going to happen in a few years time I can live now and actually say I truly lived in the last few years of my life.
And that worked for me, as then I had burnt through layers and layers of fear.
And of course, I do not believe that the world is going to end in December 2012 and I do not believe the world is going to end in December 2015. I believe the greatest challenge we’re facing now, is how to rebalance the planet and also navigate a time that, in terms of cosmic events and in terms of the position of the planet, will be challenging, weather-wise and the rest.
It’s not a coincidence that things are falling apart in the structure of humanity, because we respond a lot more (than many people would like to believe) to everything that’s going on on a planetary level and in the stars. Because we are as connected to the stars as we are to the Earth – again, many people don’t believe that and that’s fine. But for those of you who watch this and who are empathic or sensitive, I’m aware you will already be aware of that.
So on that note, this month bathe yourself in nature as much as you can, and I don’t just mean in the daytime. As much as you can be out under the moon and under the stars, it’s going to help you to rebalance. And people like me, who live in a very open place, will have to go through his fears of bears and mountain lions visiting him if he’s sitting outside (laughter). But that’s also useful for me and my ego to get over my fear and my programming, and also to embrace the fact that maybe I will be eaten by something, and that may be the way I go this time. But am I going to stop myself living in the meantime? No.
So, it’s interesting, the leadership piece seems very, very strong as a message this month. Many of you will already be noticing amazing, amazing times. Yes, even amid the chaos. For me personally this month has probably had more of the happiest expanded moments I can ever remember in my life. And then I’ve also yo-yoed the other way which is natural.
So, you have the expansion, then you come down into a smaller place in the ego or the spirit and you have to deal with that (a nearby machinery noise starts in the video) – perfect timing a machine starts coming into nature at the very moment when I talk about going from expansion into being drilled, whether it’s your mind drilling you, whether it’s your energy drilling you.
We could not be going through this period in history right now and having ourselves stay completely stable and centered the way we were while everything around us that held us in place is changing. We are not separate from the external world.
So the thing to do around leadership is to choose. This is very important for all of us.
And we will forget, and we’ll have moments where we’re consciously choosing and directing energy and thoughts, and we’ll have moments where we’re in older parts of ourselves that we’re trying to bring up to date. But if your mind starts going, talk to it. It’s a really useful practice. If your mind is saying, “You’re not good enough to do that,” say “Who says? Where did that come from?” That thought may have come from seven years ago, but imagine you could be dead in a week, don’t you want to try that thing? Don’t you want to just go and live?
And this is a great time for busting through fear, for going and doing things that you wouldn’t normally do or give yourself permission to do. And the reason it’s important to be this way is that it creates life.
We need life on the planet right now. We’re facing so much death and destruction around us – actions that carry the energy of death and fear that carries the energy of death, that those people who are alive and living with spirit, not only infuse others with a positivity and a spirit that’s important for building, but more importantly, the planet itself is positively affected.
We are not separate from these trees, we are not separate from this ground – we are all in energy response to each other. However much you may have liked to believe that you as a human are separate from everything else – it just doesn’t work like that on energy terms. Your identity may feel separate but you really aren’t.
So, the more you can actually bring life through you and be alive in this moment and in this process;
A) The better you are going to feel;
B) The more is going to move for you in your life, and
C) The more you will contribute to the planet right now.
I’ve said this before but many of you will be coming to the end of the road with things that you were doing. And saying/realising, “I don’t want to do this anymore. This isn’t what I’m here for.”
And as you go to step into what it is that you want to do, there will be some fear, there will be some – “Whoa” from inside you. It’s great, it’s great, and you’re bang on point if that’s what’s going on. Because you don’t tend to get there without going through some of this stuff. But the beauty is, by going through some of this stuff and being aware that that’s going to be the dance you go through and being positive with that and actually going “No, I’m going to walk through some of my fear this month”, you will come out the other side bigger.
The opposite is to stay suppressed. And if you stay suppressed you will stay in fear. And again let’s be clear – some of you watching this might be going through a really hard time right now as a result of something you’ve just been through. That’s a different case. If you’re simply trying to bring yourself back to zero point, that’s enough, so you just keep working on bringing yourself back to zero point and you’ll get there.
But for the rest, who are kind of in the middle, and you’re kind of ok, but there’s fear in you or there’s fear around you, be very aware of empathy.
Empathy is getting higher on the planet all the time. As we get to join into a state of oneness more, we all get better at feeling and picking up and reading other people. So, if you go to friend and a friend gives you an opinion, and you went to the friend feeling fine, and you leave feeling as if you’re ‘in’ their opinion, don’t judge it – because maybe you needed to try on their opinion to get clear about yourself.
But do be aware of it. Be aware, “Ah I was fine before I went there, and now I’ve walked away from him I don’t feel so fine, is that me or is that him?” And see where you feel, ask yourself, “Do I agree with his opinion, do I agree with my opinion?”
And opinions are stronger than ever right now and they’re very diverse and people who you’re close to will surprise you with what they say. But this is where you have to be a leader with your voice.
We are community based. But for the longest time, we have been to some degree, community controlled. Our fear of being abandoned or pushed out by the group has made lots of us in the past play roles that fitted a certain jigsaw. The jigsaw has crumbled; the jigsaw’s not here any more. The jigsaw’s gone. It’s a very new jigsaw now in an energy term.
So what you have to do is trust yourself to lead. And what will surprise you is a lot of what will come back through you are seed energies of who you were as a child. So if you liked playing the guitar as a child and you haven’t done it for 15 years, why not pick it up again and just see what happens? Or, you’ll transfer that creativity to something else. Creativity as an energy can be transferred to any area. And it will be important for people to be doing new things at the moment. Creating new life.
So, be a leader of yourself this month and trust that you leading yourself is exactly what you’re supposed to do for everyone else around you. Even if you slightly piss off your friend, who thought the two of you were very close in opinion, that’s important.
If you express something that’s very much your truth, you give your friend an opportunity to feel his or her truth around yours. And then we all move forward into a different place together. But if you stay safe and you play it safe and you censor yourself, you and your friend are being held back.
So that’s the message for this month.
Love to all in New York and everywhere else around the world where there are great challenges going on. Hold love for each other in our hearts. We’ll keep moving, we’ll keep going, we’ll keep adapting, we’ll keep moving with these times. And as it’s revealed to each of us what our personal role in the next few years is, we’ll activate those roles.
We’ll keep trucking and we’ll see where we can go as a planet and as a people. But the most important thing, regardless of your attachment to future outcomes or not is to live – to really live.
